Thanks to the generations of parents, staff, students and other supporters, there has always been ‘annual giving’ at Munich International School (MIS). Indeed, when MIS first opened its doors in 1966, it was only able to do so with the help of small but transformative donations, as well as in-kind support for teaching materials and classroom furniture in Harlaching where MIS was located in its first two years.
When the School moved to its current site at Buchhof in 1968, there were only three buildings on site; the Schloss, and two horse barns that today form part of the Senior School. Since that time, gifts of all kinds from parents, faculty, staff and other supporters have enabled MIS to enjoy the unparalleled campus, the exceptional teachers and the ‘future-ready’ curriculum that are available to our students today.
Many of the new initiatives that we hope will form part of the School’s next chapter are outlined in our current Strategic Plan that can be found here. The scope and speed at which these plans can be realised will continue to depend upon further philanthropic support.
We therefore ask you to consider making a gift to MIS as part of our 2018/19 Annual Giving programme by visiting www.mis-munich/giving. We would be so grateful for your support in this regard.
