On Tuesday 19 November 2019, Munich International School was proud to be the first of five host locations around Starnberg-Ammersee to present and answer questions about the School's practices in respect of sustainability. MIS was delighted to host visitors from a range of local community groups committed to sustainability in the region.
On 9 December 2019, MIS will be presented with the highest environmental award (three stars) for the second time in a row by the Landesbund für Vogelschutz (LBV).
Munich International School has a long standing tradition of environmentally and climate-related projects. Students and staff, who are part of the School's Eco-Committee, meet regularly in order to evaluate and discuss ideas for improvement.
