Housing

The success of the athletic programme is dependent on a reciprocal housing arrangement between international schools. When traveling on overnight trips to other schools, MIS athletes are housed by host families of those schools. Likewise, when teams visit MIS, they need to be housed with the families of MIS athletes. Housing involves picking up and dropping off athletes, providing a place to sleep as well as dinner, breakfast and a packed lunch.

Your child's team participation is dependent upon your agreement to fulfill the housing requirement!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • All athletes must be a member of the MIS Sportverein. Please register with the Sportverein here or download the membership form!
  • With the online registration you give your consent for your child to participate in the indicated trips. If you foresee any reason why your child would not be able to attend a trip (family scheduling conflicts, exams etc), do not indicate availability for that trip.
    Coaches will select athletes for each team trip based on the student´s ability and availability. If a student has not indicated his/her availability for a given trip, he/she will not be selected for that trip. If a student has indicated availability and is selected by the coach, it is expected that the student will attend. The corresponding travel costs will be charged to you at the end of each athletic season.

  • All flight travel will be eligible for a €50 Sportverein subsidy. Upon receipt of your end of season invoice please email sportverein@mis-munich.de with your bank details to apply for this subsidy.
