This Musical Theater Workshop program is specifically designed to offer weekly training in voice development/singing, vocal literature from musical theater, vocal ensemble, movement/dance, and rhythm. This Fall the V&B Ensemble will join the Senior School December musical production “Once on this Island” by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens. Rehearsals for the December production will be Wednesdays and Thursdays. For more info about the production see the Senior School winter production.
In January V&B will resumes its once-weekly Wednesday rehearsal schedule in preparation for the March variety dinner show in an off-campus venue to be announced.
Voice & Body participants also have the opportunity to audition for the annual High School Honor Choir Festival. This year’s Festival will take place in the International School of Aberdeen, 14-18 March, 2012.
