Students from grade 10 to 12, who accomplished their Duke of Edinburgh last year, were given their bronze and silver awards from both last year and the year before.
"Today I took home my bronze award after a year of hard work. I am really pleased with what I have achieved, and I am now striving for my silver award. I have really loved doing the Duke of Edinburgh award and the experiences it has brought me. In order to get my bronze award, I had to do 3 months of a physical, 3 months of a skill, 6 months of service and an expedition that lasted 2 days and 1 night. I have enjoyed every second of it even though it was challenging at some points, but I got to work with people I don’t normally work with and got to do things that I wouldn’t have done otherwise." – Georgia, Grade 10
