Elizabeth Zhu Named National Merit Finalist

We are pleased to announce that 12th grade student Elizabeth Zhu has been designated a National Merit Finalist. This honour is awarded to students who perform in the top percentile of eligible test-takers on the 11th grade PSAT, and also demonstrate strong academic potential and personal character. Elizabeth plans to attend Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) next year. Congratulations Elizabeth!

The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and college scholarships that began in 1955. United States high school students enter the National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®), which serves as an initial screen of over 1.5 million entrants each year, and by meeting published program entry and participation requirements.
