Students Raising Money for Lebanese Children

Last Saturday, Carlo, Caspar and Anton cycled 157km from Starnberg to Aschau in Austria (climbing 1800m in total) to raise money for Right To Play; supporting Lebanese children.

About 10% of children in Lebanon do not attend school. For the others, the quality of education and of school buildings leaves much to be desired, in spite of the country’s recent efforts.*

“The country is suffering immensely from the severe damage caused by the devastating explosion in Beirut, and my sister, who recently went to Lebanon, told me that the local schools are in very poor condition.” – Anton, Grade 9 student
