Dear MIS families,
I am very excited and pleased to congratulate a wonderful group of six MIS parents who have been elected to the MIS PTV Board of Directors for school year 2024/25.

Our new PTV Officers!

The new MIS PTV First Vice President is Ms. Alexandra Frohne. Alexandra is a Middle School parent.

The new MIS PTV Second Vice President is Ms. Melissa Loch Özkan. Melissa is a Middle School parent.

The new MIS PTV Co-Treasurers are Mr. Fabian Holtkamp and Ms. Jurina Wessels. Both Fabian and Jurina are Junior School parents.

The new MIS PTV Secretary is Ms. Anna Liisa Moter. Anna Liisa is a Middle School parent.

I am delighted that these MIS parents will lead the work of our wonderful Parent-Teacher Verein in this school year, and I am looking forward to collaborating with them very much. We have already discussed some new strategies for distributing volunteering duties at PTV events in more predictable and equitable ways. I suspect that we will enjoy a great year together!

Thank you, outgoing PTV Officers!

I want to take the opportunity, again, to sincerely thank our out-going PTV officers who led so many wonderful events and initiatives in the past years. Thank you to Jennifer O’Brien, Irina Reinhard, Veena Sagi, Eva van Unen, and Olivia Derby! You created so many wonderful experiences for our students and families, and you leave a legacy of making MIS a welcoming and caring community, especially for families new to our school and our region. I am additionally grateful that you are always such a positive, generous, determined, hard-working, and actions- and solutions-oriented group (there are several more adjectives that apply, too, but the list would be so long, it would be embarrassing!). It has been a privilege and a pleasure to work with you!
