Membership is mandatory for MIS Student Athletes who participate in competitive sport teams during the school year run by the Athletics department, or Parents/Teachers (or External Members) who participate in one of our Adult Recreation Opportunities or plan to use the weight room. Membership is not mandatory for parents of Student Athletes, not participating in these activities.
Only one payment is required for each academic year, independent of the number of seasons and/or teams that an athlete participates in.
Membership is not required for students who only take part in non-competitive sports as part of the After School Activities programme.
MIS Sportverein offers two types of membership:
For a student or parent of a student currently enrolled at Munich International School e.V. (MIS e.V.), an alumnus of MIS e.V., or a staff/faculty member of MIS e.V. Individual membership costs €30 per year.
for individuals other than above who support the aims of the MIS Sportverein e.V. This membership has no voting rights but allows the member to take part in Verein sports and activities. The external membership fee is €50 per year.

Ski Swap is back this year!
The Sportverein's biggest event of the year takes place on Saturday, 16 October 2021 from 11:00 to 13:30 in the Middle School Auditorium.
Each year the Sportverein e.V. hosts a consignment sale in the Middle School Auditorium; SKI SWAP is an annual school social event and the Sportverein's largest fundraiser. Bring in your excess winter equipment & clothing - we sell them on your behalf for a small commission.
