This week, we in the SLP Athletics Team would like to say a huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to all parents, colleagues and friends of MIS who contributed time, energy and support for our 49th Heinrich Harrer Cup Ski Race in Seefeld last weekend. You may have heard that the weather conditions were once again ‘not on our side’, but our organisation team did a fantastic job in managing ice, snow, water, salt and heaven & earth to enable the 150 student skiers to compete. Happily, our own MIS Ski Team won the Senior Team trophy! Special thanks go to our partners, Ski-Club Starnberg, for organising and running this challenging event.
And with that, we finally concluded our Athletics Winter Season, rounded off with a lovely Recognition Evening in the PAC last Tuesday where each student-athlete Team Captain shared some words of reflection on their season. I would like to extend a profound thank you to all parents who enrolled their children in SLP Athletics' Winter Season and who supported them throughout their season of basketball, swimming and skiing.
Moving on! We are now in Week 2 of the Spring Season and this means that on Monday 24th March, we will be finalising the SLP Activities participant and fee lists. Therefore, please check in with your children this weekend on how their first 2 weeks have been and, if there is any need for you to withdraw them from Spring Season activities, then in order for your fee to be removed, you must let us know at slp@mis-munich.de by latest 9am Monday morning. Withdrawals made after this date will still incur the Spring Season Fee which will be charged via SchoolsBuddy in Week 6 of the Spring Season (after Spring Break).
