At the heart of this vision is the concept of dreaming boldly. Boldness is imbued with many layers of meaning and nuance across cultures. Acting boldly can mean being courageous and willing to take risks. Being bold may indicate confidence in expressing one's mind. Bold may describe an idea that is imaginative, creative or unconventional, and bold often holds the visual quality of being striking and standing out with distinction.
At MIS, we believe that bold is more than just a word—it is also an acronym that embodies the spirit of what it means to dream boldly. A bold dreamer is Brave, Optimistic, Limitless, and Determined.
Brave: To dream boldly is to have the courage and the bravery to aspire beyond who you are, to reach for who you might become.
