Join us to celebrate the Class of 2026 with an elegant Graduation Dinner at Hofbräuhaus in Munich, followed by the After Party at P1 Nightclub. Below you can find all the details about the evening, including the schedule, transportation, and important information to make the night memorable.
Graduation Dinner Details
The Graduation Dinner will take place on Monday, May 25th at the historic Hofbräuhaus in Munich, Platzl 9, 80331 München. Hofbräuhaus dates back to 1589 when Duke Wilhelm V founded it as a brewery for the Bavarian Court. Later, in 1828, King Ludwig I opened it to the public, making it a place for everyone to enjoy food and beer.
The evening will begin at 18:30 with a welcome drink, followed by a delicious three-course meal served at 19:30. For children under 12, a special two-course menu will be provided. Both vegetarian and vegan options are available, and any dietary restrictions you shared during registration will be carefully accommodated by Hofbräuhaus. If you have further concerns, please inform the waitstaff directly on the evening.
Upon arrival, each guest will receive a pre-dinner drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Additional drinks, including water and soft drinks, can be ordered at your table and paid for at the end of the dinner. An itemized bill will be presented to each group by the waitstaff.
The seating plan for the evening will be displayed at Hofbräuhaus upon your arrival, so you can easily find your way to your family table.
The dress code for the evening is elegant attire.
Dinner Registration
There is no limitation to the number of guests you wish to invite. If you wish to sit with another family, please indicate in the registration form. We will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that since tables sit 10 people, some tables may include multiple family groups. Also keep this number of seats per table in mind when indicating another family you want to sit with and the total number of guests per table.
It is a nice tradition at MIS to invite the IB teachers and IB staff members to the graduation dinner. Upon registration, you will have the opportunity to make a donation to that effect. Thank you for helping us to carry on with this tradition!

Transportation to Dinner
To make the evening stress-free, a bus transfer will be provided to take you and your party from the graduation ceremony at Prinzregententheater to Hofbräuhaus. These buses will run from 18:00 to 19:00, shuttling guests between the two locations. Depending on space availability, buses may park in front of the theatre or nearby.
If you prefer to drive, parking is available at Hofbräuhaus at Thomas-Wimmer-Ring 9a. However, spaces are limited and cannot be guaranteed. Please note that Prinzregententheater does not have a parking garage, so plan accordingly if you are driving to the ceremony.
Transportation to Afterparty
If you plan to join the Afterparty at P1, the venue is approximately a 14-minute walk (1 km) from Hofbräuhaus. Taxis will also be available on Maximilianstrasse. For those driving, refer to the Afterparty details for parking information.
