Log In to Your LibraryAt MIS, books are just the beginning of our libraries.
Our libraries are places of discovery and delight. Here, students don’t just read books; they fall in love:
- With books that spark imagination
- With stories that open doors to new worlds and new perspectives
- With learning that empowers and challenges students to collaborate and connect learning to real life
- With libraries that feel like home
From our giant collection of age-appropriate books in over a dozen home languages to a robust online library tailored for learners in all grades, we make sure every student finds their perfect match in the world of words.
Because at MIS, our love language is learning—and our libraries speak it fluently.

The Junior School library is a hub of culture, multilingualism, and learning. Parents are welcome to visit the library from 09:05 - 09:30 daily as well as 15:15 - 16:00 on Mondays and Wednesdays. Students have weekly library classes as well as access to the library for clubs, browsing, and meetings during snack recess times every school day.
The Junior School library is well-known for its traditions and cultural celebrations:
Literacy Weeks, featuring masked mystery readers, story times read in a wide varitey of our students' home languages, and author visits.
Holiday Reading Slideshows: Junior School students are encouraged to read as a hobby and lifestyle. Students submit pictures of themselves reading on holiday or on school breaks. The slideshow of images is a highlight of the first Friday assembly after the break.
Book Donations: In honor of birthdays or special events in your child's life, parents can donate a book to the library.

The Learning NeXus opened its doors to Middle & Senior School students and faculty in August, 2024. In addition to housing the ever-growing Middle and Seniors School library collection and IT help desk, the NeXus includes a combination of individual study spaces, collaboration pods, flexible classrooms, and seminar seating.
The NeXus is an aspirational space, engineered to foster the aspects of a learning culture that we call "the four I's":
Individual: Every student will have an individual learning plan.
Interdisciplinary: Project based and interdisciplinary learning will be the new normal.
Interaction: Student will learn with and from each other.
Inspire: Teachers will act as coaches who guide and support the learning process.
The NeXus library has become both, a bustling space of collaboration and activity as well as a quiet oasis of study with ever-present support from expert teacher-librarians and student library assistants.
