Take the Shot

The Athletics section of the student life program allows students to compete in Golf, Ski, Tennis, Volleyball, Football/Soccer, Cross Country, Track & Field, Swimming, Basketball, and Softball. Once the school day has finished, Junior School students take part in 60-minute sessions and older students' sessions run for 90 minutes later in the evening. Athletics teams train twice-weekly in their chosen sport and most of the team sports compete in the International Schools Sports Tournaments (ISST) season-end tournaments along with 7 partner international schools.

Our Fitness Studio is accessible to all MIS families before and after school hours, and used for physical education classes during school hour.

Track & Field

Run Wild

MIS's regulation-sized track and field allows our School to host regional and international tournaments.  The wilderness trails surrounding our campus are ideal for cross-country tournaments and training.

Gymnastics

Flip Out

Our gymnastics teams meet three mornings each week and train on regulation equipment with a team of professional gymnastics trainers.

Dance Studio

Express Yourself

Our new Fitness & Athletics Building includes an airy dance studio equipped with a ballet bar and heated floors.

Indoor & Outdoor Courts

Get on the Floor

MIS boasts multiple indoor and outdoor basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts. Students have access to outdoor tennis and basketball courts during recess and for after-school-athletics.
