Follow Your Nose

Genuss & Harmonie is the proud catering partner of MIS. There is no question as to whether the food is fresh. All meals are prepared in the MIS kitchen. All ingredients are regionally-sourced, bio, and even the micro-greens are all grown in our cafeteria.
 
Genuss & Harmonie lives up to their mission: "cook to inspire people" by collaborating with MIS student-led changemaker initiatives to reduce food waste and provide sustainable, reusable cups and packaging for to-go containers.

Genuss und Harmonie provides daily lunch service as well as catering for school events and athletics tournaments.  When students can't come to the cafeteria, G&H provides sandwiches and snacks from the Language Arts and Design Center (LADC).

Grab a snack and hang out

Before and after school, the cafeteria is available for MIS parents and students to grab a freshly-baked pastry and a beverage.  Parent-teacher association meetings are often held in the cafeteria where parents can enjoy our array of sandwiches and snacks.

Food Facts About G&H

Early Childhood and Grade 1 students are served a set menu each day and sit down to a hot meal without going through the service line.

 

Are you worried your child won't have quality meal options?  That won't happen. Grades 2 through 12 students have multiple menu options each day, and for busy students and parents who need to take their meals on-the-go, the Genuss & Harmonie cafe serves baked goods, snacks, and sandwiches from morning to the end of the school day. 

 

Between 500 and 700 students, parents, faculty, and staff are served per day at MIS.

It takes an average of 30 seconds to serve each guest going through the service line.
